Breaking news : Good news for Manchester United fans as star striker returns as a boost to the squad that will face Norwich city .
Edinson Cavani could make his comeback
against Norwich City this evening, according
to Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick.
Last month, the Uruguayan international
worsened a tendon injury, forcing him to
miss his country's World Cup qualifiers.
The 34-year-old has remained on the sidelines
since, but Rangnick has stated that he could
return against the Canaries on matchday.
"The only plausible possibility," he told
Manutd.com, "could be Edi [Cavani]." "We'll
have to wait and see," says the narrator.
"He was working with the team yesterday
and a few days prior, so we'll have to see
how he feels today."
Raphael Varane (fitness) and Anthony
Martial (knee) will miss the game, according
to Rangnick, although they are expected to
recover soon.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka (knee) and Nemanja
Matic (flu) are both questionable for
the match, but Paul Pogba is sidelined
for four weeks.
