Edinson Cavani could make his comeback against Norwich City this evening, according to Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick. Last month, the Uruguayan international worsened a tendon injury, forcing him to miss his country's World Cup qualifiers. The 34-year-old has remained on the sidelines since, but Rangnick has stated that he could return against the Canaries on matchday. "The only plausible possibility," he told Manutd.com, "could be Edi [Cavani]." "We'll have to wait and see," says the narrator. "He was working with the team yesterday and a few days prior, so we'll have to see how he feels today." Raphael Varane (fitness) and Anthony Martial (knee) will miss the game, according to Rangnick, although they are expected to recover soon. Man United have made a positive start to life under Ralf Rangnick, with the German manager yet to taste defeat in any competition but they’ve also not played for a considerable amount of time, as their last fixture came on 11th December.
