According to rumours, Manchester United

has'made a call' to sign Edinson Cavani's

replacement from South America.

Since October 2020, Cavani, 34, has been

at Old Trafford. After helping Man Utd reach

the Europa League final last season, he has proven

to be a tremendous hit with the Manchester

United faithful.

Cavani's position in the team, though, has

been in jeopardy since Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival

this summer. Injury has also limited the

Uruguayan's season, limiting him to just

eight games and one goal.

As Barcelona closes in on Manchester

United, the striker could leave in January.

After Sergio Aguero's retirement, Xavi needs

a new goalscorer, and Cavani has reportedly

accepted Barca's offer to join.

When the transfer window reopens, the Red

Devils could make a move for a known

Tottenham and Aston Villa target.

Julian, 21, is said to be 21 years old,
